	I've got an SBlive! card, using the emu10k1 driver.
	Playback works fine.
	Recording just produces silence.  No errors, no nothing.
	H/W and mixer settings are Ok.  The mike locally echoes into
	the earphones (as it should).

	Try sound recording on 5.3-beta6/i386 with the emu10k1 driver.
	I've been using the audacity and mhwaveedit programs from
	ports for recording.
