Hi Doug,
I've heard that you are the maintainer of the aic7xxx driver, so I hope you
are the right man to send this to:

I just grabbed the latest linux/pmac sources from vger.rutgers.edu, and it
seems the aic7xxx driver for my adaptec card is now broken. It runs fine in
2.1.121 that I'm currently using. Here's the response:

(scsi0) <Adaptec AIC-7860 UltraSCSI host adapter found at PCI 17/0
<bla bla about termination>
(scsi0) Downloading sequencer code... 419 instructions downloaded

<pauses a few seconds>

(scsi0) BRKADDRINT error (0x8)
  Sequencer Ram Parity Error

and the boot hangs.

This is on a Power Computing PowerCenterPro 240.

Thanks,

	/Patrik
