https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D217273 Bug ID: 217273 Summary: Improve error messages if not "one and only one option" selected Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Ports Framework Assignee: portmgr@FreeBSD.org Reporter: andreas.sommer87@googlemail.com CC: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Created attachment 180187 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D180187&action= =3Dedit Patch to distinguish with separate error messages While playing around with port options, specifically a "single" (only allow= s a single option), I was getting errors and was unsure if the options I set we= re actually applied correctly. Long story short: I had to figure out if the er= ror "You must select one and only one option from the ${single} single" meant t= hat 1) I have not chosen any option or 2) I have chosen more than one. Hence I propose the attached patch to help beginners (like me) by clearly distinguishing those two error cases with separate error messages. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.=
