I'm trying to tell you what you have to say to move forward on this issue: 1) tell people that they are mistaken about drives ignoring the FUA bit or flush cache 2) convince people that the performance benefit of request barriers is worth it I think we all care, but when we actually care--when money depends on it-- we adopt other measures scsi, batter backed raid, etc. -Jon
