HI !!! I ported lynx recently to my freebsd box. I got it installed and there were no problems when I did this. I tried connecting to www.yahoo.com and it works fine. But, whenever I connect to www.freebsd.org or ftp.cdrom.com, lynx connects but it stops on the message at the screen's bottom, "HTTP request sent; Waiting for response". And this goes on forever !!! I tried lynx in one linux box and did the same. Lynx however connects without stopping at the message above. I kept on repeating this comparison and I got same results. Lynx running in FreeBSD stops at the message above when I connect to www.freebsd.org or ftp.cdrom.com and lynx running in linux can connect to this sites. I wonder what is wrong ? Thank you. -- jf
