It's _always_ hell doing a source upgrade from -stable to -current. :-) It's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other, I'm afraid. Both a binary upgrade (tweaking the new /etc afterwards) and a source upgrade (wading through a massive mergemaster run afterwards) are going to take time. Ciao, Sheldon.
