Wouldn't this be better off in burncd?  cdcontrol is for driving audio
CDs, and I don't think you want to play them at anything except 1x :)

DESCRIPTION
	Cdcontrol is a program to control audio features of a CD drive. 
	The device is a name such as cd0 or mcd0.
