This may be entirely co-incidential, though, since my normal usage is to suspend/resume with the card in place more than insert/remove as I'm doing at usenix. So far I've been able to recover from the missed events by using pccardc power 0 0 ; pccardc power 0 1 and occasionally also restarting pccardd.
