This may be a little off base for this list, but . . .

I have two FreeBSD machines that have a 3c509 each.
I would like to plug a RJ45 into the UTP port on each
one and run a mini-lan between these two machines.

Has anybody done this and if so, what steps did you
take in order to get this to work ? Is this even
possible in this configuration (no hub) ?
