Difficult > issue. I was hoping, these problems would go away after the recent rework of cups ports, but it seems, it only got worse. Not just AVAHI, DBUS, and X11 can lead to a circular dependency during a portupgrade. Also, cups-filters is required for something as simple as printing a text/plain, but conflicts with foomatic-filters -- which provides support for additional printers. If someone found the time and the energy to rework cups-ports, why are these problems still remaining? -mi
