The error says in the header Mixer failure. kmix: Could not open mixer. Perhaps you have no permissions to access the mixer device. Login as root and do a 'chmod a+rw /dev/mixer*' to allow access. I have done the suggested chmod and I am still getting the same error message. How can I resolve this issue?
