I have checked under dos and I can find the hard disk at IRQ 14 and 0x1f0. I have lost the instructions to my I/O card so cannot understand if I need to change certain jumpers, but it works fine under DOS. Have any of you had experiences like this before? Is there a problem with maxtor harddisks? Should I change my I/O card to a newer one, it is one of those with serial, parallel, game, floppy and HDD on one. Any ideas, much appreciated!
