Personal recipe when this kind of things happens (generally caused by a camera switching to power-save mode or that runs out of battery): - switch to single user mode - unmount everything that can be unmounted - remount ro everything that can't be unmounted - reboot (and generally enjoy a kernel panic ;-) ) Not suited for critical production servers, but you won't connect a camera on such a system, would you? BTW, their are already a couple PR around there: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr-summary.cgi?text=3Dumount Regards, Romain --=20 Romain Tarti=E8re http://romain.blogreen.org/ pgp: 8DAB A124 0DA4 7024 F82A E748 D8E9 A33F FF56 FF43 (ID: 0xFF56FF43) (plain text =3Dnon-HTML=3D PGP/GPG encrypted/signed e-mail much appreciated) --oyUTqETQ0mS9luUI Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.4 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQFHZocZ2OmjP/9W/0MRAgheAJ4g03coUV7d8uFMUqn3qEyGHO8KcACfV1q0 dedKxfRaTPpG2J7SQgKRuBA= =IAOo -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --oyUTqETQ0mS9luUI--
