Yes, it was the first command I tested - but what got me was the directory. I went to /usr/src/contrib/ntp as the files changed resided there. As I just keep the clock of the box ticking as close to UTC as I can using external time sources, anything else is excess baggage. I went with the version from base, now that I know the directory from where to start the build. -Reko
