Do you absolutely *have* to use the password file for this type of stuff? If all you want is some form of textual database, that holds account information, then you're much better rolling off some custom interface to a= set of flat text files, instead of polluting your passwd files with information that is not related to authentication. (As for the original question, you dont say how exactly you 'are trying to = use usernames with '@' in passwd-file'. You'll have to provide more informatio= n, if you really want someone to be able to help you. The exact steps taken to use such usernames, ar a good starting point.) -giorgos --JWEK1jqKZ6MHAcjA Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE7sk931g+UGjGGA7YRAgj6AJ9HthjtNT+ZQAGBzO4Bp58QN1uw8ACgkIYB qaPqWM9cIsV18nShru89UZY= =29eb -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --JWEK1jqKZ6MHAcjA-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
