Hmm.. on my system, I get the rtinit() message even when doing this...
I.e.:

	$ ifconfig lo0 207.76.205.81 netmask 0xffffffff alias
	/kernel: rtinit: wrong ifa (0xf0847080) was (0xf0819700)
