The enemy is Linux, the relatively new computer operating system that's a version of an older one called Unix. Now that the upstart operating system has IBM Corp.'s (IBM) blessing, thanks to a Feb. 18 agreement with a private Linux distribution company called Red Hat Software Inc., Corporate America will be more likely to accept it.
