I would like to take /usr/ports/misc/mc maintainership and make the following change to the default mc build: - enable WITH_SLANG by default (and rename WITH_SLANG -> WITHOUT_SLANG) this will enable internal editor - remove patches that rename mc binary to midc, leaving symlink midc -> mc for backward compatibility 99% questions from newbies are about internal editor and strange mc naming. Because these changes are rather intrusive I decided to ask here before committing. Please reply directly (I am not subscribed). /fjoe To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
