On my home system, I try to update port games/warzone2100.

My box gets stuck with this, counting the ids up. It seems this is
downloading something from the net via IP 93.188.135.21.

On another box, this behaviour isn't visible, the installation is
performed within minutes. On this specific machine, it takes ages (2
hours now on a Q2D Intel 8400 with 3GHz):
