For some odd reason, nmdb was not part of 10.1-PRERELEASE, so my boot scripts failed. Doh. The fix: cd /usr/src/sys/modules/nmdm/ && make depend && make obj && make install Why in tarnation does 10.1-PRERELEASE have the joy.ko and no nmdm.ko? ;) Rudy
