Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-questions@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I have had FreeBSD on my system for about a month now. I have been tweaking it constantly so I don't know exactly what I did to make the following happen. It seems that after my computer has been sitting idle for a while it will start beeping (Constantly)..... If I go into my office and hit any key then it goes a way. Someone told me it might be the way it is polling my keyboard to see if it should wake up. I don't know where to start. Any ideas???? Thanks...Fred frappuhn@tir.com
