I have a problem with FreeBSD 2.1.0-STABLE, Adaptec 2940 and a Tandberg TDC 4220.

When trying to use the tape drive, the system kernel comes up with error messages (SCSI bus is reset, some
queue errors etc), and the system hangs and automaticly reboots.

I have noticed that the messages referrs to SCSI ID 2 and not the SCSI ID that the tape drive uses.

When booting, the tape gets a density code of 0x0 wich normally not works for any tape drive. Anyone have a
sollution to this problem?
