Yours is very trivial repeating of the defense the ones who do the spying use. They never actually attempt to prove un-provable: that the do not spy. Instead they mix with dirt and ridicule the ones who attempt to mention it. Tin foil hats is one of their nice ridicule inventions. Alas, instead of looking into the subject, using their brain and analyzing facts many even clever people indulge their laziness, and just repeat the nonsense.
