error output from portmaster building devel/json-glib and devel/glib20

Using portmaster to build devel/json-glib requires building devel/glib20 fi=
rst.

Near the end of the build of devel/glib20 I get a series of errors that sta=
te
the following (see also the attached output):

   locale.Error: unsupported locale setting

My locale settings are as follows:

unix# which locale
/usr/bin/locale

unix# locale -a | m
C
C.UTF-8
POSIX

unix# locale
LANG=3DC.UTF-8
LC_CTYPE=3D"C.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE=3D"C.UTF-8"
LC_TIME=3D"C.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC=3D"C.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY=3D"C.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES=3D"C.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=3D

Since I am unable to build either of these two ports, several other (many!)
ports cannot be built. If someone can explain what is going on here, I wou=
ld
greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance.
