After talking to tech support at Walnut Creek they seem to think that it has something to do with the fact that I am using Ontrack Disk Manager on my system. If I may, I'd like to describe my system so that you can, perhaps, recommend the best way to proceed with the installation. 486/66 CD-ROM Teac cd55A (not supported) C: 850 MByte WD running Ontrack Disk Manager and Windows 95 (yuk). D: 1.2 GByte Maxtor on which FreeBSD will be installed. 3.5" floppy 1) Do I use the Ontrack Disk Manager on D: ? 2) How should I partition D: ((DOS and FreeBSD) or only FreeBSD)? 3) What about the disk geometry? 4) What should I use for the Boot Manager? I would appreciate any help you could give. Thank You, Mark Maguire
