[ of course, as i am xp not 2k, i have do use c:\windows\system32, not c:\winnt\system32. but i figured that out. ] but, when it comes to the bit that has me modify c:\boot.ini, well i just ain't got none, ain't none nowhere on the disk, nohow. so what in xp's version of this hack? anybody been here before? randy
