Now I'm not so keen on getting some of > those USB gadgets from ThinkGeek. ): It's probably too late to suggest it now but it did occur to me a very cheap and easy way to get around the original problem might be to replace the keyboard with a PS/2 keyboard :P (if your computer has a PS/2 port).
