The DELL server has got an adaptec controller and five SCSI disks and one tape drive. My first disk was seen as da0 but when i added my controller which was having a single disk that was seen as da0 and system says unable to mount root device. The da0 was on scsibus0. I tried the same experiment with the Q-Logic adpter and it also gives the same result. In both cases i tried the following line in the configuration file. controller scbus1 at isp0. But still the drive put on the Q-Logic adapter was taken on scsibus0. How is this clash avoided ? Regards, Nandan __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
