The author's list is for people whose names are attached to particular handbook sections...since some have their name in many places, the entity definition just ensures consistency and makes addresses changes easier (@freebsd.org addresses are not necessary). Since there isn't any single formatted author listing, these people should appear in the submitters section as well; using the entity defined in authors.sgml is recommended. -john
