Apparently X.org can't read any EDID/DDC data as it fails to establish I2C
connection with the monitor. Could VGA<->DVI adapter have caused it?

I've copied modeline from another machine connected to it, pasted it along
with Option "PreferredMode" to Section "Monitor" and it finally displays at
native resolution. I wish fixing HW rendering could be that easy...
