Take a PDF file and convert it into PS. Add options you might need for paper size. Example: % /usr/local/libexec/cups/filter/pdftops -paper A4 test.pdf and check the PS output. See "man pdftops" for details. Maybe it's a dependency problem of pdftops... Note that the "normal" pdftops binary is provided by the xpdf port. Maybe you can try to update this one too?
