Hi Bernt, Sound is coming out from front speakers, so pcm0 is the right default unit. Problem is that rear speakers are mute. That=C2=B4s why I am playing with p= in configuration of the sound card. Besides, during some of these tests with "nid", mouse stopped working in X! Anyone experienced this as well? Cheers.
