I am using an external ISDN modem and the link just goes down every now and then. I cannot seem to find a reason for it, it is not a time or data event that makes it go down because it happens when there is no data and again later when therre is stacks of data going through the link. The only unusual thing I get are HDLC errors in the log file (I am not even sure what a HDLC error is :-), but the log just says Carrier Lost and then reconnection details. I can include a section of the log file if it will help but I didn't want to fill the list with it.
