I'm planning to buy a LaserJet 4MP (maybe at more of a discount, now that the LaserJet 5's are out and about)... there's been pretty much unanimous agreement amount HP owners that this printer is a real gem. I've heard Lexmarks give good bang for the buck too. When the printer gets here, I haven't decided whether I'll connect it to one of the SGI's (which can only drive it via the parallel port with the IRIX Impressario driver) or on a FreeBSD box. It will probably depend on the ease of SysV->BSD printing vs. BSD->SysV printing. -- Brian ("Though this be madness, yet there is method in't") Tao taob@gate.sinica.edu.tw <-- work ........ play --> taob@io.org
