Dear cy, who maintains ntp-4.1.x, My name is Bunpei Matoba, a FreeBSD user in Japan. I'd be very happy if you could answer to my question. I enabled the "leap seconds handling capability" of my FreeBSD 4.2 machine and installed ntp-4.1.70 package and ran ntpd in a stand-alone manner. The seconds the ntpd tells to a SNTP client seems to include leap seconds. ( A client program on Windows2000 reports a time 22 seconds advanced.) I'm afraid that my setting for ntpd is incorrect. Please tell me URLs or documents to read. Thank you very much in advance.
