I have restored other tapes but not from that system. I get for example: ------- # restore tvf /dev/rst0 Verify tape and initialize maps tape read error: Undefined error: 0 # ------- Tape drive is HP1536A (I think). Any ideas before I declare the tape dead and move on? Thanks. Sam
