Subject:   netscape fails with latest kernel

i get the following when i try to start netscape with kernel made 
last night,make-world done 11/5/95.kernel made 11/5/95 works fine.

netscape.bin: uname() failed; can't tell what system we're running on
Xlib:  connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib:  Client is not authorized to connect to Server
Error: Can't open display: :0.0
