We don't have any indications that before the crash processes will take unusual amounts of CPU. The only time there is high CPU usage is at the point where it does enter the crashed state and no longer seems to be able to communicate with the disk. I'm not sure this is the same bug but we'll keep an eye out for it. Thanks for reporting your experience!
