Arghh.  I just did this last week but the holiday seems to have
erased all recollection of the fix.  I didn't keep a copy of the
original sources but if you send me your libmysql.c, mysqladmin.c
and config.h I'll diff them and jog my memory.

It comes with mit-pthreads so it may.  It does work on 2.2.2 (after
adding that one little change)
