VMWare and init.dHi,

    Those rcx.d scripts are System V style of enabling and disabling =
services within diferent init 0-6 states, this is not the case with =
FreeBSD, wich uses a BSD style of starting processes like /etc/rc.conf, =
/etc/rc.local, /etc/rc.shutdown, etc.

Merry Xmas
Ales

  Subject: VMWare and init.d

  I'm running 3.4-stable and trying to do the install for vmware. It's =
prompting for the location that the init scripts reside such as init.d =
and rc0.d through rc6.d.

  I thought they resided in /etc or /usr/local/etc? But i'm not finding =
them.=20

  tnx for your help,=20
