Hello Arjan, Thursday, December 14, 2000, 6:29:09 AM, you wrote: AK> Boris wrote: >> >> >> >> I really DISLIKE the ISDN-DRIVER for *BSD! >> >> CK> Why? >> Maybe my reaction was incorrect, sorry. I was angry about the data loss. My lovely BSD Server is still not running with i4b and the latest stable -((( AK> I don't understand how you lost you data? Did you try to fix-it with a fix-it floppy?? No, i made build world, the compiling of the kernel was impossible, i restarted the server and BANG every network functions were disabled, i have tried to backup as much as possible but it took me a week to reconfigure the server (installing/compiling everything i was working with, and *yes* i do manual compiling of some apps). I tried to overwrite the current version (complete reinstall) but they were still problems, so i had to reformat the drive because i have no much time left for my project(s). This was 5 days ago, and now i can slowly begin working again, and i know that i would never again compile the kernel with i4b in the next month. Bah... As I said, just update the src with cvsup and try to compile it with i4b (the rel4-stable branch). HAVE FUN -(((( A suggestion to everyone, just try it ...
