I just did some searches on 'www.freebsd.org'.
I was searching 'current' for '3C589'.
Several of the dates in the summary page were
dated in '96 and '97, but the subject indicated
they concerned the 4.0 code freeze. The messages
were from this January.

Sorry if this is the wrong list. If so, please
also file it under wrong date...
