Greetings,

I have installed FreeBSD (3.2 Release) on a Micron = P90, which=20 has been upgraded to 180MHZ with a Pentium OverDrive Processer with = MMX. =20 This system previously was running Windows 98 with no problems. =

After installing FreeBSD, noticed that the system = clock is=20 running fast (~ +45 s every 5 min) .  When booting Timecounter = "i8254"=20 reports 1193182 Hz and Timecounter "TSC" reports 156956333 Hz.  I = think=20 that TSC should be 180 Mhz or so.

How do I get this system to run on time?  It = ran fine=20 under Windows 98!  Considering hacking the code for calculating TSC = to=20 report 180MHz.  Where should I look?

Thanks,

Jeff Kyser
