 You might try bringing up the subject of removing OPIE entirely on a
 mailing list.
 
 In addition to the unlinking of systat, there are other things in the
 patch that do not belong in there, all in ftpd: a revert of
 FreeBSD-SA-11:07.chroot, a SO_SNDBUF setting and a tightening of
 checkuser().
