The ATA driver in -STABLE does not support DAO writing (there is code to do it in -CURRENT, but has not been merged). There is an experimental patch somewhere (search mail archives) to do scsi emulation for atapi, but I don't know if it can provide capabilities not present in the ata driver, nor do I know how stable or functional the patch is. $.02, /Mikko -- Mikko Työläjärvi_______________________________________mikko@rsasecurity.com RSA Security To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
