We have a big LAN and some UNIX applications which understand only WINS/NetBIOS name resolution to find IP addresses of the client systems. It is planned that every department would have it's own DNS/DHCP and WINS server. I would hate to say that only Windows NT would possibly do this. I looked at the ports collection but there is't much on NetBIOS. Thanks in advance for your time and help. Prashant.
