but now I have a workaround:

echo MK_NIS=3Dno >> /etc/make.conf

ps: WITHOUT_NIS=3Dyes from /etc/src.conf does not assign "no" to MK_NIS som=
ethere
in build system, like most WITHOUT_XXX do.

pps: I suspect the same bug exist in releng/10.4
