1.  If they don't read the FAQ, there's not much point in volunteers
like me using my spare time to maintain it.

2.  If we tell them to read the FAQ for one question, they should
remember about it for any other questions which might be answered there,
and then not bother us with those questions.

3.  You should also remember that everyone answering questions here
does so in their own time, we don't appreciate answering questions that
people could find out for themselves in a matter of minutes from the
link clearly labelled "FAQ" on FreeBSD's web site.  It isn't exactly
hard to find.

4.  It's a matter of principle, see parts 1-3.
