But the autodetection code of Alex is surely a good idea and helps out in some times avoiding broken dependencies because of unlucky defaults. Maybe it's a good idea to Alex to submit the autodetection routine as a patch of Mk/bsd.ports.mk and reduce (as often recommented) it's ports mysql and openldap support to USE_MYSQL/USE_OPENLDAP. Jens
