The results of: ifconfig -a netstat -r and more complete information about your setup of PPP. It seems that there is no (correct?) route set up to the ppp0 interface. When using the kernel-based ppp implementation, this should be done automatically when the interface is brought up, so I wonder if the address and netmask the ppp0 interface gets correspond with that of your ISP. _Alain_ -- Alain FAUCONNET Ingenieur systeme - System Manager AP-HP/SIM Public Health 91 bld de l'Hopital 75013 PARIS FRANCE Medical Computing Research Labs Mail: af@biomath.jussieu.fr Tel: (+33) 1-40-77-96-19 Fax: (+33) 1-45-86-80-68 I've RTFMed.
